Two Brothers Explore the Solar System
Braeden and Owen had been planning their journey for months, making sure that every detail was accounted for. They had wanted to explore the solar system for as long as they could remember and now they finally had their chance. They had saved up enough money to buy a used rocket and with a few modifications, they were ready to go.
The first leg of their journey took them to the moon. They had hoped to be able to use the moon’s resources to generate more fuel for their rocket, but they quickly realized that the moon was not as hospitable as they had thought.
After a few days of exploring, they were able to find the materials they needed to create more fuel and they set off for Mars.
As they approached Mars, they began to pick up strange readings on their instruments. They couldn’t quite make out what they were, but they knew that they needed to investigate.
They landed in a secluded area and began to explore. It didn’t take long for them to find a hidden cave.
Exploring the cave, they found a new kind of Martian diamond. They were able to mine them out using special machinery and tools that they had brought with them.
After exploring Mars, they knew that they had to see the gas giants Saturn and Jupiter.
Blasting off from Mars, they spent the next few days travelling the lonely darkness of space. They played games and read books to bide their time. Eventually the gas giants were in sight. But their rocket ship got caught in a gravity well around Jupiter and they were pulled in to the atmosphere.
Luckily, Braeden and Owen were able to optimize their rocket engines using special programming that they quickly wrote whilst being pulled in by the gas giant.
Just in time, they were able to engage the newly improved engines and break free from the gravity well.
They headed off to the farthest reaches of the solar system and approached the distant planet Uranus. The planet was spectacularly blue. The distant rays of light from the sun bounced across the planet and scattered through the icy atmosphere, illuminating it brightly now that they were close.
On arrival, they suited up in their cold resistant life support space suits and headed out into the icy wastelands of the planet. They set up a camping habitat and pressurised it with breathable air, allowing them to experience the icy planet in comfort. They even made a camp fire and shared an interesting camp fire story.
After their 48 hour adventure on Neptune, they headed back to their home planet, Earth in their rocket. They were tired but excited from their journey and ready to share their stories with the world.
The end.
